The Power of Song.

Dear Ms. Zrihen
I am currently reading the book, The Power of Song.
I picked the book The Power Of Song, because the librarian recommended it to me. There are a lot of story's in this book favorite story was called The Power of Song. My favorite passage in this book was when on page nine and ten when in so time soon the kings son had to read from the Torah and after a couple weeks of practicing he did not even know the Alef bet. I picked the passage because a kid who needs to read from the Torah soon he dose not even know the Alef bet.
The two reading strategies I used before reading the book was that I read the synopsis and I also Skim and Scanned through the story titles, pictures, preface, table of contents, and the acknowledgments. The two reading strategies I used during reading the book was that I asked myself questions about the book so far. I also reread the pages/ chapters that I read and marked already. The two reading strategies I will use when I am done with the book will be ask my self questions about the book to see if I really understood the book. Another after reading will be looking back in the story for more clues.
The genera is fiction folktale.
The characters in the story: The Power Of Song are:
The king. His son. The Sage. The songster.
setting was in a temple, kings palace.
The characters for the story: a friend for a king are:
The king. The Vizier. Sar. Asilha. There kids Ovadia, Salman, Sancho.
Setting was in the kings palace, kings house.
Those were my two favorites so far.
The problem is that the kings son does not know how to read better yet he dose not even know the alef bet and he needs to read from the Torah in some time (soon). The rising action is that he dose not know how to read from the Torah.
